Burendo celebrates sixth birthday

All of Burendo gathered in Leeds for our first annual conference ‘Burendo Together’

Burendo’s sixth year began with a bang as we kicked off our first Burendo Together conference yesterday. Burendo Together was held at Park Plaza, Leeds, which included keynote speeches from Directors Glenn Crossley and Austen Bell alongside guest speaker, Paul McGee, motivational speaker and author of SUMO (Shut up, move on).

The directors celebrated Burendo’s journey, starting from humble beginnings as three talented individuals came together to create a workplace with a culture of inspiration, innovation and collaboration. From winning their first client to becoming a trusted partner for several fantastic organisations such as NHS England, UKHSA, YBS and Next, Burendo has grown from strength to strength. We are proud of the award-winning work we have delivered for each of our clients over the years and how our partnerships with each organisation have grown.

Looking ahead, the Directors took the team through our ambitious growth plans and how every Burendoer can make a difference in our journey.

Paul McGee took us through his practical techniques to overcome difficulties and navigate change through laughter, storytelling and collaborating. All Burendoers left equipped with a reminder of what matters and a toolkit to help navigate problems in both work and life.

Toasting another fantastic year and many more to come, we rounded off the day with a celebration at Roxy Ballroom where we demonstrated our skills (and in many cases, lack of) in table tennis, shuffleboard and pool.
